About NBCK

Leveraging Ningbo's strategic port location, the city began to see small and medium-sized enterprises engage in international trade in the early 1990s. Goods were shipped from Ningbo to markets around the world, and international business has since become a key driver of the city's GDP growth.

Building on this strong foundation of global trade, NBCK established its first campus in Cixi County, Ningbo, in 2012. This was followed by the launch of our independent art and business faculty campus in September 2021. In 2023, NBCK was granted candidacy status for the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

Language Courses

The language skills courses at NBCK focus on developing three core competencies: expansion of specialized vocabulary for arts and business courses, enhancement of interpersonal communication skills, and improvement in grammar and writing proficiency. Each area of focus aims to unlock students’ potential for applying language skills in their future overseas academic and daily life.

College Management

In the college-based learning management system at NBCK, each study group is assigned a "College Dean". The College Dean provides comprehensive support in four areas: daily vocabulary supervision, management of electronic devices, student athletic activities, and overall mental and physical well-being. Each college at NBCK is staffed with one College Dean and four academic mentors, who jointly oversee the academic progress and personal development of students within their group.

Liberal Education

In the college system of NBCK, liberal education is integrated with professional skill development. In the liberal education segment, students engage not only in theoretical and practical studies of arts and business but also participate in enriching activities such as Model United Nations, simulated auctions, and business negotiation scenarios. These open discussions enable students to apply textbook knowledge to real-world situations, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical applications in everyday and business contexts.

Counseling Service

At NBCK, we primarily offer the Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) international diploma program. Each student is assigned a dedicated counselor who provides continuous guidance in three key areas: selection of professional fields, choice of overseas universities, and examination planning. This ensures a well-rounded and tailored approach to higher education preparation.
